Dr. Grace Wolski

Grace Wolski thoroughly enjoys her work as an acupuncture practitioner. Her favorite part about her daily interactions with patients is seeing them improve and steadily increase their quality of life while progressing through treatment.

Living with chronic back and neck pain is something that Grace understands and has only been able to successfully treat through the combination of acupuncture and yoga. As screen time becomes increasingly more of a necessity in our daily routines, our spine suffers. If we are not actively lengthening and strengthening our spine regularly, this can lead to improper posture causing inflexibility and discomfort. Grace noticed this pattern especially during COVID times and was grateful for acupuncture treatments and her yoga practice to get her back in balance.

Grace received her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish from the University of Maine. She felt lucky to live in Spain, Costa Rica, and Thailand while accomplishing her degree. Upon returning to the U.S., she opened her own non-profit community wellness center in Portland, Maine for several years before leaving again for India to get her 200-hour yoga teaching certification. Grace then moved to Virginia and completed her Master of Science in Acupuncture as well as her Doctorate in Acupuncture at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.

When away from the clinic, Grace likes to go bowling with her family and spend time outdoors on long walks with her dog. Grace is a Rescue Scuba Diver with hopes to eventually become a Master Diver. She loves water and any water sport, especially swimming and sailing. Her yoga practice includes weekly classes, with aerial yoga as her specialty. She teaches aerial on the weekends at Miyu in Falls Church.

Holistic healing can be a process of internal discovery. Seeing people work towards their personal wellness goals is an important component of Grace’s motivation to treat others. Pain can not only affect quality of life but can also commonly impact relationships. Living a happy and healthy life is something Grace believes everyone deserves, and she considers it an honor to assist in this journey.
